Former prisoners of the Japanese are still waiting for a reply to
Since the end of World War Two, former prisoners of the Japanese and their supporters have been lobbying for fair compensation and pensions.
The suffering inflicted on POWs by the Japanese was criminal and against the rules of war according to the Geneva Convention.
Beheadings, forced labour, inhumane punishments, poor hygiene, and regular starvation were witnessed and/or experienced first hand by almost all of the allied service men and women captured by the Japanese.
For more than sixty years the dwindling army of survivors have banged their heads against the metaphorical brick wall of ‘international relationships’ sake for recognition and acknowledgment of their claims.

“This is stupid, let’s go back!”
Let’s go back to remembering what our government , the British government, is there for, and who put them there.
Let’s go back and review these broken promises and Lies!
LET US REMEMBER THEM
LET US ALSO REMEMBER whose grandchildren vote.
AND
WE BID YOU TO REMEMBER what message this sends out to the cannon fodder of the future.
